Dignity • Stability • Belonging

Every senior deserves to know: You belong here.

Gentle Care Foundation is being built to stand beside older adults, veterans, adults with disabilities, and families facing financial hardship—before a difficult season becomes a crisis.

Our why

Born from lived experience. Built to prevent crisis.

Gentle Care Foundation grew from founder April Williams’s personal understanding of how quickly housing instability, food insecurity, addiction, isolation, and unmet daily needs can overwhelm an individual and a family.

Our purpose is simple but urgent: help vulnerable seniors remain nourished, safe, respected, and connected to community. We meet practical needs while reminding every person that their life still holds value, purpose, and belonging.

“Because, my heart won’t allow me not to help.”

Who we stand beside

Support shaped around real life.

  • Low-income and financially struggling seniors
  • Homebound older adults and those living alone
  • Veterans and disabled older adults
  • Families facing caregiving and household hardship
  • Seniors experiencing food or hygiene insecurity
Dignity is not a luxury. Safety is not a privilege. Belonging should never depend on someone’s ability to pay.

THE GENTLE CARE FOUNDATION PROMISE

Do you know a senior in need?

One caring connection can change what happens next.

If you know an older adult, veteran, or disabled adult struggling with food, household essentials, a safe home environment, isolation, or access to non-medical support, contact Gentle Care Foundation. Please do not include private medical information in an email.

Help us understand the need.

Send your name, contact information, the senior’s city or county, and a brief description of the assistance being requested. Our Foundation will follow up to discuss available resources and next steps.
